The Road Not Taken


Two roads diverged in a yellow wood, And sorry I could not travel both And be one traveler, long I stood And looked down one as far as I could To where it bent in the undergrowth;
Then took the other, as just as fair, And having perhaps the better claim Because it was grassy and wanted wear, Though as for that the passing there Had worn them really about the same,


And both that morning equally lay In leaves no step had trodden black. Oh, I marked the first for another day! Yet knowing how way leads on to way I doubted if I should ever come back.

Sometimes in order to clean the mind and come up with new ideas you have to walk down a different path. Even if that path doesn't have a final destination and you have to retrace your steps back, you still may discover things that you normally wouldn't have. Almost like becoming a passenger on a route you are normally the driver, you get the look around and see things in longer gazes instead of side-eye glances.
I have been trying to take new paths constantly, with most paths leading to dead ends. But I am not at all discouraged when I hit those dead ends, I am only full filled with the knowledge that I have absorbed along the way. I just know that taking the same ways over and over again I will never learn something new or discover something I have never encountered before. Always take a chance, you may never know where it leads.
