Holly by Matilda Temperley

I did a shoot a wee while ago with photographer Matilda Temperley as part of some promotional material for Ugly Models. As well as it being great to be involved with the project, it was really lush to be able to meet some fellow models and characters that make their living from having an unorthadox aesthetic! This isn't the final image to be used but I'm well happy with it nonetheless. We shot it over a mirrored table, so the effect you get is 2 'Hollys' for the price of 1, which can only be a good thing eh? ;-) Here is some more of Matilda's beautiful work for you to have a gander at too. I think she takes an almost anthropological slant in terms of her portraiture and certainly bring out the beauty in the most unusual of faces.

At present I am busy creating an online portfolio to show off my modeling and acting work; one that's a bit more grown up than this place that is! After all, I turn 30 next month and unfortunately I'm not sure how much this blog screams "Cast me! I really am trustworthy and professional" !? Anyway, all will be revealed on completion.
