I love coming home from months of overseas travel for so many reasons. Apart from the obvious ones like seeing family and friends, there is nothing like access to a fridge and kitchen, your own bed and a wardrobe. I prefer travelling with one suitcase and one carry on, but I would be lying if I didn’t admit it gets old quickly. Whenever I stop in to London or NYC I would love to update its contents on the high street; but when I have the same pieces waiting at home it is just a waste of money and non existent luggage space.

I have been a devoted ASOS girl for years now, with roughly 7 postal addresses from around the world still stored in my check out options. I bought this patchwork print shift dress while travelling but only got a chance to wear it upon returning home, thankfully to a refreshing pair of flats that feel new after so many months away.
