Starry Eyed

I never thought I would have to edit my nipples out of an outfit post, but there’s always a first time for everything. Although I admire the ‘layering upon layers’ styles of others, ‘less is more’ has always resonated more naturally to me. I always feel more comfortable in effortless jumpsuits but this piece took it to the next level.

While on location in Marrakech for Jimmy Choo last week everyone was selecting options for their shoot looks. I felt like I found myself in jumpsuit form when I stumbled upon this sheer panelled onesie – only then realising that the other girls were staying clear of it for a reason. Underwear is not an option. I worked up enough guts to wear it to the closing event of the project and surprisingly felt more ‘me’ than ever before.

I feel so proud when my mum loves an outfit of mine as much as she does this, exclaiming that it is exactly like what she used to wear boogying on the dance floor in the 70′s and 80′s. This is just one of the many reasons I think that maybe we should have been born in the same generation as sisters instead…
