Susan G. Komen's Race for the Cure: Neon Pink Polka Dot Manicure!

Happy Monday!

Long time no post! 2013 ended up being a really crazy year for me, to say the least. Definitely a year of change, finding myself and adventure. I've missed blogging oh so much and kept wondering how to jump back into it. A good friend of mine told me its a new year, what better time than now to just jump back in! So here I am.

With all that mushiness out of the way... I've made it my personal goal in 2014 to really live life to the fullest and check things off of my bucket list. Starting with... My very first 5k EVER! I'm pretty sure I'm crazy for even doing this but I am SO darn excited I could (and have) squeal!

On Saturday January 25, 2014 I will be taking part in Susan G. Komen's Race for the Cure. I've chosen this particular 5k as my first for very personal reasons. Unfortunately, breast cancer has hit close to home and affected not only people in my family but very close friends. Raising awareness for breast cancer is a cause that is very close to my heart.

In honor of my upcoming race, all this week I will be showing you guys some of my favorite PINK things! Starting the week off with one of my favorite Zoya polishes ever, Ali! It is a very bright neon pink that I absolutely adore.

I used Zoya's Ali, along with Purity to create this adorable polka dot manicure. I tried my best to photograph Ali as best as I could but geez, neons are tough to capture!
I still can't decide if I'm going to keep this as my race day manicure or if I want do to something different. If you guys have any ideas, feel free to share!
I almost forgot to share but my teams name is Double Divas, how freakin' awesome is that?!
Check out my progress and please consider donating towards my fund raising effort goal! It is definitely a great cause!
