Top 5 Favorite Pink Lipsticks

Well hello there!

If you missed yesterday's post, every day this week I will have a pink themed post in honor of my upcoming first ever 5k race. I will be taking part in Susan G. Let me just say that holy cow you really notice all of your imperfections and just how much peach fuzz you have when you photograph your lips or face up close. I know I'm my own worst critic but please don't judge. haha I just wanted to share my favorites with you guys!

Let's start off with one of my absolute favorites, Mac's Candy Yum Yum. It is a BRIGHT almost neon matte pink lipstick and one of my summer time staples. Every single time I wear it I get a ton of compliments. It can tend to be a bit drying so I definitely suggest using a good lip scrub followed by a lip balm before applying it.

Also on the bold, bright side is Maybelline's Vivids ColorSensational Fuchsia Flash. It is almost exactly the same as Mac's Candy Yum Yum just super glossy instead of matte. Side note, I absolutely LOVE the smell of this line, is that weird?

For a natural matte pink lip I like Revlon's Super Lustrous Lipstick in Stormy Pink. It is a matte so it does tend to be drying and show imperfections but I still like it and it looks great topped with a nice gloss.

When I want a more natural but still girly and pink lip I tend to reach for Maybelline's Color Whisper in Faint for Fuchsia. Since I have naturally pinkish pigmented lips this is almost like a pink tinted gloss on me. Its light and feminine.

Last but definitely not least is Mac's Girl About Town. It is like a berry toned amped up pinkish shade which sort of makes sense since its an amplified finish. It is super shiny and makes my lips look so plush and healthy.
