Tanqueray No TEN at The World Class House

Located at 33 Fitzroy Square, the WORLD CLASS House was the central hub of the competition that sees 49 talented global bartenders competing to win the much coveted accolade of WORLD CLASS Global Champion – this year won by Charles Joly from The Aviary in Chicago, USA.

The WORLD CLASS house became a world of incredible mixology, exquisite spirits and unforgettable experiences for consumers.

Within the house, the glamour, style and sophistication of the Art Deco movement was brought to life in the Tanqueray No. TEN Martini Cocktail Bar in an ode to the new bottle design, which celebrates the famous cocktail golden era when the martini was the connoisseurs’ drink of choice.

The Tanqueray No. TEN Martini Cocktail Bar was one of the few bars in the world to serve only stirred martini cocktails, served by Tom Aske and Tristan Stephenson from the Worship Street Whistling Shop.

Drinks were served in the elegant silver martini cocktail glass, designed by Alex Kretena of the Artesian Bar, the award winning London establishment.

The classic martini cocktail has made a triumphant return to cosmopolitan cocktail culture and the flavours of Tanqueray No. TEN - whole fresh oranges, grapefruits and limes - are best exhibited in a sophisticated martini with several dashes of vermouth and brought together with twist of grapefruit.

“I can’t think of a more sophisticated and extraordinary gin for such a simple, yet beautiful cocktail.” says Barrie Wilson, Global brand ambassador for Tanqueray No. TEN.
