My blog for today is shelved for a moment because I’ve been challenged. I love a good challenge especially when it’s thrown out there by a friend. This morning when I awoke I noticed my friend Canary Beck ( http://canarybeck.com/ ) had challenged me to a little bit of a “git Nakey” aka Bare Face challenge. So I logged in at 6AM washed off all the make up I was wearing and snapped a picture for posterity. I wore gloss, so I suppose my vanity got the better of me pre-coffee, but otherwise. Here I am.
Easy to tell it was 6AM I didn’t match my feet to my skin and since it said “unphotoshopped” picture, well, there ya are. I am as usual flawed. *sigh*
It’s amazing to me how my Asian facial qualities are most recognizable when I don’t wear makeup, perhaps I should model this way more often. Naw, in the words of the ravishing Tyra Banks, “I love the confidence make-up gives me.” But what do you expect, underneath it all I am still just a Cao. I hope you will take on the challenge too!
