I have a confession to make…

…I gained weight. And not just 5 lbs like up to my highest weight. I thought that I could wait to tell you guys till I lost all the weight. But I realized that I did it last time with you guys and I need to do it this time with you guys. I’ve found through this journey that I need to have a goal to work towards. My first one was vacation and my second was the half marathon. My next big goal to compete in a bikini competition next year. I also want to be featured on bodybuilding.com’s Teen Amateur Bodybuilder of the Week. I saw this girl on it and I know that if she can do it, I can do it too.

Looking like this in less than a year is easy…right?

From now on, I will be posting weekly updates like I did during Beach Body Bootcamp last year. That method seemed to work for me, so I’ll continue to use it. I’ll record my weight, measurements, how I’ve eaten and my workout plan. I wanna keep a record of my weight loss for myself and for all you guys struggling with your weight. I’ve learned over this journey that I will probably struggle with my weight for the rest of my life. But it’s my choice to stay on top of it.

I’ve done tons and tons of research on competing and have a loose plan of how I’ll train. From now until the beginning of cross country season (August 18th), I’ll be combining dancing, running and (hopefully) strength training. Then from then until mid November, I’ll be doing cross country and hopefully taking off some weight and fat. From mid November to mid December, I’ll be lifting weights and doing assorted cardio. Then, I will apply(and hopefully get accepted) to Team Bombshell and train with them until my first competition in April.

As you can see, Bombshell gets results.

I know that their training style is do everything to win and my personality is like that so I figure we’re a good match. My pre-Bomshell weight lifting routine will most likely include a lot of full body workouts and supersetting. I know that I’m going to need to tighten my lower body a lot and gain muscle on my upper body to balance myself out.

The guys competing aren’t to shabby either…

So get ready to go on this weight loss journey with me for the (hopefully) last time. Comment on this post if you’ve experience weight gain(after loss) or if you plan(or have) competed in a bodybuilding competition. I’d love to hear your experiences. Talk to later my little bunnies!
