Garden Pathway Plans!

I can’t wait for the weather to warm up; I have such huge plans for our brand new back yard! I want to put an edible garden in the raised garden bed, get some flowering vines to grow up the trellises on the garage, and plant a little flower garden along the side of the house!

It definitely looks like someone had a garden here in the side yard, but after the long, cold winter we just had, it doesn’t surprise me that now it looks like this.

But can’t you see the potential in that little side garden?! There’s already a comfy bench right in the middle of it, so all it needs now is a little bit of cleanup, some pretty flowers in the planter beds, and a little garden pathway right up the middle of it!

So of course, when I was given the opportunity to try out Spectracide Weed & Grass Killer, I jumped at the chance! It sounds like it’s the perfect thing to get rid of any grass and weeds in the area currently. I definitely want grass to grow in and around this little pathway area eventually, but since we just moved in, I don’t know what sort of weeds are lurking there just under the surface, so I think it’s better to clean out the whole area and start fresh!
