Review: ASOS Textured Body-Conscious Dress

Since this dress didn't work out for me (reviewed here), I made another attempt by ordering this ASOS floral dress to try. The dress is beautiful in person. Even though it was almost perfect for what I was looking for, I ended up returning it as well. I loved the fit and everything but I feel like it's one of those dresses that you would wear once for a special occasion and will never wear it again. I quickly snapped a few pics for this review before sending it back just in case you're interested.

I ordered this dress in a size US 2 regular and the fit was spot on. The dress is unlined and made from a medium-weight stretch knit fabric. I wore these Spanx shorts underneath but the dress is not sheer by any means. The shorts just help smooth out everything. All in all, I think it's a great dress. I was just picky about my purchase and not willing to spend money on something that I know I would not get enough wear. I ended up wearing an old dress to the event =)
