Paris // What I Ate for Breakfast

There were just way too many delicious things to eat in Paris. Our days were packed with eating, walking, shopping, and then eating again. There were multiple times where I wished I wasn't so full so I could eat more. Here is what we ate to start off our day of more eating...

THE BEST CROISSANT EVER! Go directly to 134 RdT Patisserie to get one as soon as you land. You won't regret it. You'll look at all other croissants in disgust after having this one.

Forget the coffee and go for a hot chocolate instead from Angelina. It's basically a bar of chocolate in liquid form. So rich and thick. Since service is eh at Angelina, take it to go and walk it to your next food destination.

Around the corner from our apartment was Erik Kayser, where we discovered and stocked up on these adorable yogurts in glass containers. The yogurt consistency was a little liquidy, but thick enough that you needed a spoon to eat it. It's definitely more liquidy than our regular yogurt. After the first time we tried one flavor, we went back the next morning to get all the flavors. These were so good, we had to stop ourselves from having more than one in one sitting.

Sweets are always a treat to have in the morning, and when my friend Queenie told me about Lemoine, we made sure to go to for their canelé.

The canelé comes in two sizes, regular, and a tiny two-bite one. Perfectly crispy on the outside and soft and pillowy custard on the inside.

Just down the street from Lemoine is Gateaux Thoumieux, possibly the most chic patisserie in Paris.

With so many pastries to try, we finally picked this tasty wedge of the Saint-Dominique. Buttery and sweet, this was a great choice for breakfast.

And of course, any morning is a great one when starting off with a daily macaron and a soothing cup of tea at Laduree.
