MAKE UP TURTORIAL

I wrote a post (in Swedish) a while ago regarding alternatives ways of using black eyeliner around the eyes. It is very bad for the eyes to use eyeliner in the waterline. This can cause a lot of eye problems and clogged up the pores in the waterline that is suppose to help the eyes stay hydrated/moisturized. I would recommend everyone to avoid it using eyeliner / kajal inside of the eyes. Just ask an eye doctor and they will tell you the same. So after that post I got some request on how I do my eyeliner underneath my eyes I simply put it underneath the lashes but in a very thin line. I first apply the eyeliner and that I use a eyebrow or eyeliner brush to fill in the line with dark eyeshadow. This will make the finish look a bit softer and more matte, which looks much better underneath the eyes. I finish off with applying my MAC concealer underneath the eyes and if the line is not perfectly even, concealer is great to corret it together with a blending sponge.

If you have small eye this is the best way to make them look bigger! This make up trick will instantly give you an illusion of bigger eyes. My eyes are very big to begin with so with this make up make them look huge lol. For evenings I love this look but it is not something I would wear during the day.

I recently started doing the winged eyeliner, instead of the normal smokey eyeliner look I usually go for. I liked the winged eyeliner for evenings and going out, but it can look a bit extreme during the day. But that is just my opinion

Eyes

L’oréal Colour Riche Eyeshadow palette number E4 Marron Glacé. Lancome eyeshadow palette. I used the black eye shadow with a thin eyeliner pencil underneath the eye to fill in after the liquid eyeliner. The glitter colours I used as a base and then applied the different shades from the L’oréal on top. The liquid eyeliner is from Glo Minerals. Bare Minerals Lash Domination Mascara (amazing mascara, a new fav!). 2-3 individual eyelashes from Eylure on the outer corner of the eyes. I used the clear Duo glue to apply them with.

Skin

No7 Instant Illusion Wrinkle Filler. This is an amazing primer to use in areas there fine lines can appear, for example in the forehead or between the eyebrows etc. Clarins True Radiance Foundation (colour Sand). Glo Minerals sunlight bronzing powder on the cheekbones. Light contouring with UNE BB cream bronzer (S05). MAC Studio Concealer NC15 underneath the eyes.

Brows

Anastasia Brow Duality Camille/Sand. I used it underneath the eyebrows for a highlighting effect. Anastasia Brow wiz in Taupe. I am in love with this eyebrow pencil! I tried it for the first time making this turtorial and it is amazing.

Make up Forever cream concealer (in colour 6) to correct and hightlight the shape above and around the eyebrows. Glo Minerals clear brow gel / eyebrow mascara.

Lips

Mac Naked lip liner, applied a lot of it around the lips and just above the top lip. Clarins instant light lip gloss in colour 01.
