Rhonda + Jake’s Steampunk Engagement Shoot

Vintage pocket watches, steam trains and Victorian-era fashion highlight today’s stunning engagement shoot from Sydney Takeshta of London Light Photography.

Rhonda and Jake both looked amazing in their Steampunk inspired attire and I love that the couple decided to wear matching red and black outfits for their shoot. “Photographing Jake and Rhonda was witnessing how much they love one another, ” says Sydney, “I’ll have you know, chivalry is not dead! Maybe Jake is from the victorian era???? He is a gentleman. The type of gentleman you would find in a love novel!”

The couple’s spectacular set was styled by Touched by Time Vintage in Temecula, California the mother and daughter styling team did an amazing job capturing the Steampunk look for the couple’s engagement session.

Off in the distance I could see a man with a capricious mustache and top hat. He reached for the hand of a tall blond in a chestnut colored corset. It was as if I was transported to the very pages of a Victorian-era fiction novel. This was too good to be true. This was not a mirage, this was my 10AM appointment with Rhonda and Jake for an Steampunk inspired engagement session. – London Light Photography
