The Perfect Summer Nail Color: Treat Collection 5-Free Nail Polish Review

Treat Collection is the latest 5-free non-toxic nail beauty brand to hit the scene and while I wasn’t really impressed upon first look, after trying their polish on personally, I am SOLD.

First of all, their product formulations seem to be quite unique in that they utilize a lineup of plant essential oils and fruit extracts in order to give your nails a long lasting color and coat without using harmful or toxic conventional ones. They also utilize ingredients that are, for the most part, eco friendly and biodegradable, which is certainly something I can get behind!

Aside from all that, their nail formulations are all created without: Formaldehyde, Formaldehyde Resin, Toluoene, DBP (Dibutyl Phthalate) and Camphor.

If that’s not enough to be impressed by, then please, check out their extensively beautiful color collection! They have tons of variety and a nice mix of equally stunning colors to suit anyone’s taste. I actually kind of scoffed at them at first (sorry) when I saw how posh their packaging looks. Forgive me, they looked like they were green-washing, but after checking them out further and really looking into the ingredients, I am seriously impressed with them! Add to that the fact that their nail polishes hold up against conventional ones in terms of longevity, finish, color pigmentation, and overall color options and I am pretty sold on this one. They don’t quite de-throne my favorite – Kure Bazaar – but if any other brand came close it’s definitely Treat Collection!

I was kindly sent one of their polishes from Beautyhabit for review and this color is appropriately named Outdoors. It doesn’t really look all that great in the bottle, in my opinion, but it’s absolutely beautiful on the nails.

Ignore the fact that I don’t really know how to paint inside the lines and check out that beautiful color!

Now, it’s been at least 4 days since I painted my nails. I’ve showered several times just to check and see if they would chip and they really haven’t budged much save for one tiny chip on one nail! And that’s after extensive hand-washing and showering just to see how they would hold up. Also, keep in mind, I didn’t use any top coat (because I’m lazy and I’m out of top coat) so they would probably look even better and last even longer if I’d taken the time to buy more top coat and apply it.

This is definitely a winner in my book – can’t wait to try out more of these in the future.
