Why I love my morning coffee + Win a Lavica coffee machine
For me, getting up in the morning represents my first obstacle of the day. It is not because I am lazy, nor because I hate what I do in life/my work, but because my bed is insanely comfortable. In the morning, I don’t like when things are complicated. I like simple, fast and organized. How many times have I worn a not-so-cute outfit to work because I was in a hurry? I would say about 1000.
My mornings usually consist of my cat, sitting on his throne (throne= my bed), and a cup of coffee, preferably mixed with a lot of foamy milk. If you’ve been following me on Insta, you know how much I love a good coffee. Is it a cliché? Maybe, but a good cliché, I must say. Sometimes, the idea of drinking my coffee, or the smell of the one my boyfriend is doing for himself, helps me move from the bed to the kitchen (this or a UPS guys that comes way too early). When I get my first cup, my day can finally begin. I start catching up on my mails, looking at my Instagram and getting some work done. When I am finally awake (read, 2 hours later), I eat a good healthy breakfast (I keep the bacon for the week-ends) and I am good to go.
Why am I sharing this with you guys? Well, I just got this new machine, the Lavica. What I love about it is that I can save time and energy because it works with small caps. I grab a flavour (my fave one of the moment is called Italiano), put it in the machine and, 2 secondes later, it is ready! Even the milk gets foamed on it’s on, you only need to press a button on the foamer and that’s it. Perfect for my “very awake” morning brain. This coffee machine is also compatible with Nespresso cups (you know them!) and tea cups filled with different flavours. This is ideal for your guests that do not like coffee (yes, it happens).
Soo, yes, waking up in the morning is a pain in the cup (hehe) for me, but at least I can now save lots of time and energy. Waking up at 6h30, going to work at 7, I’ve done it a million times, but with a cup of coffee, it is way less awful.
