A girls wreath making evening

Although it seems like only 5 minutes since last December, the time had come for our annual gathering of green-fingered & mulled-wine-loving friends for an evening of fun floristry.

We all used a kit from Sarah Raven that contains pretty much everything you need, including the essential and totally fool-proof instructions (even after a few glasses of mulled wine they still made 100% perfect sense!). The only other items you need are plenty of foliage (a great excuse to go foraging in your local woods) and anything to make yours more individual (last year I adorned mine with brussel sprouts).

Having deemed last year as the practise run the competition was definitely on, and with a new addition to the group who proved to be rather skilled, everyone certainly upped their game. The end results are just brilliant, and you get such sense of satisfaction that you made it yourself - all for just £11.95!
