L'Olmèque.
J'aime quand mes passions s'entremêlent.
Notamment lorsqu'il s'agit de voyages et d'habits. Les vêtements ethniques et costumes traditionnels m'ont toujours inspirés, qu'importe leur provenance. Je suis fascinée par la créativité des peuples à avoir instauré d'aussi beaux habits dans leur culture.
J'ai d'ailleurs parfois du mal à imaginer que certaines civilisations aient pu vraiment fouler la même Terre que nous. Certains empires grandioses, auparavant si puissants, réduits à néant en une poignée de siècles. La Grèce et l'Égypte antique, et toutes ces civilisations pré-Colombiennes - pour n'en citer qu'un petit nombre - vivant aux gré de croyances et de magie; qu'est-ce qui a changé de nos jours ? J'ai parfois l'impression qu'en Occident, nous avons anéanti toute trace de fantaisie.
C'est dans les accessoires que j'aime faire ressortir certains imprimés ethniques. Je suis férue de chaussettes, et j'ai eu un véritable coup de cœur pour ces chaussettes "Olmèque" de Sammy Icon. C'est cet esprit de voyage qui m'a attirée, tous ces imprimés colorés et originaux présents dans leur collection invitent à l'évasion.

I appreciate when my interests become entangled.
In particular when it's about travels and clothes. Ethnic costumes has always inspired me, wherever they come from. I am fascinated by the creativity of some nations to have established such beautiful attires in their culture.
Sometimes I can barely imagine some civilisations could have set foot on the same Earth as us. Some grandiose empires, beforehand so powerful, reduced to nil in few centuries. Ancient Greece, Ancient Egypt, and all these pre-Columbian civilisations - only to name a few of them - living according to beliefs and magic; what has changed nowadays ? I often have the impression our Occidental culture has annihilated every trace of fantasy.
It's with accessories that I like to bring out ethnic prints. I am fond of socks, and I had a real crush for these "Olmec" socks from Sammy Icon. I've been attracted by this travel vibe presented in the collection, with all those colorful and original prints which invite to evasion.
