Pepero Day 2013

Business was a bit slow this year… as in children, you need to step your game up hahaha. Since the big markets are closed every 2nd and 4th Sunday of the month, they really missed out on a lot of business for Pepero Day this year. I made goody bags for my co-workers as well as some of my classes. My Sprout 3 class all got individual boxes because they’re perfect and I love them. I also gave individual boxes (along with chocolate and jelly) to my 6 o’clock Sapling 2 class. I really wanted to show them that I appreciated them even though I may seem like a witch most of the time. Scratch that, I don’t seem like a witch, I am a witch. That class is a classic example of adolescence, but I’ve learned to love them in a strange way… it’s like teaching a bunch of Doris’s back in the 9th grade. Of course, I made two golden goody bags (literally, they were gold foiled bags) filled with a shit ton of candy, 3 boxes of Pepero, and some chocolate for my two favorites – Jack & Daniel. Jack gave me a box of Pepero… which apart from looking melted itself, melted my heart. Daniel tried to give me 1,000won… ADORABLE <3

Anyways, I supposed I should give something to my students in the Tuesday-Thursday classes as well. I wish children were more appreciative in some ways. I want to hear “thank you” before I hear “GIMME.” But isn’t that the nature of children?? You raise them, you teach them, you love ‘em to death.. then they turn around and hurt you. But you still love ‘em anyways.
