Fat Loss Treatment in Korea (Part 1)

I know I’m not morbidly obese, but there are parts of me that I wish would slim down. After a bit of research through Naver, I visited 365mc, the most popular weight loss clinic in Korea. I had to go to the 교대 location since they had an English translator there.

Upon walking in, they did an in-body composition test for me. It’s similar to what they do for you at the gym. It tells you the amount of muscle vs. fat you have as well as your BMI. As expected, the results showed that I was slightly overweight. I met with a consultant who evaluated me. She pretty much looked at my thighs (and all that cellulite) and assessed the best treatment plan for me. The recommended method was LAMS, a treatment where they suck the fat out of you with a needle. You can literally see two viles of fat in the needle when you’re done. The only downside to that was there were no available appointments until late August. I was set on starting my treatment right away so I went with the other option, PPC. PPC is where they inject a liquid into the problem area that breaks down fat. I’ll be swollen for about a week but after that, my thighs should start shrinking.

Walking around for the rest of the day was a bit hard. My inner thighs were super swollen so I walked around looking slightly retarded. On Sunday, I made an effort to get out of the house so I spent the day with Richard in Jamsil. I hope this treatment works. Will check back for results in about 3 weeks!
