With all the hype about this seasons trends in NZ by
Westfield NZ, I've decided it was time to give 'Safari' a go. With a classy mix of natural fibres and gorgeous neutrals, safari also brings in animal prints and gold. As my blogging journey evolves I've started to develop quite a fondness for all of these things.
How can you not take pics of a 'safari' outfit in a park right! I found this sleeveless olive blouse thrifting this month (no surprise right), and I just love the details. The capped sleeves, tie at the waist and pintucked details are all really flattering (nice line on the arm, focus on the waist and flatters small breasts).
Just had to add this gold bamboo clutch, silver leaf earings and snakeskin print sandals to really complete the vibe.
On the other hand, I am not convinced with these beige cropped pants. I just don't seem to be able to find the right top to stop my thighs looking huge. Please note I picked the most flattering pics to show here (everyone does that right). Any tips team? Do I need a longer top? Lighter? Do you wear pale pants/jeans?
If you are curious about A) the fashionista's versions of this trend or B) how to make it work for you, I found loads of 'safari' ideas and examples that you may also enjoy at
