VITAMIN C {WONDER} :: A CITRUS INSPIRED TABLETOP

Lately, I’ve been so inspired by the contrast of bright citrus colors against a backdrop of dramatic black – the pair seem like a perfect way to welcome in this slow-coming spring, don’t you think?

So I teamed up with C. Wonder to create a tabletop that beckons diners to a brunch that’s sure to welcome more sunshine into our lives… even in the chilliest of weather.

A palette of greens and tangerines set a tropicana tone, but the cork chargers with their flecks of gold are really stealing the show for me. I might have to eat off of these every day just to put a smile on my face.

I love the current prints and patterns offered at C. Wonder for all their dishware. To me, they look best placed over a solid color for extra pop, but if you’re feeling bold, swap out those classic grosgrain napkins for another patterned piece. They have plenty of napkins to choose from!

If I were setting this up in my house for entertaining, I think I’d surround the entire table with tropical plants to really get in the sunshiney mood!

Also, here’s a little hint. I hardly ever use real tablecloths, but rather I love ransacking the remnants area of my local fabric stores for colorful beauties like this perfect green. Unfinished edges typically don’t bother me much for casual setups like this one.

Now that the kitchen is complete in our upstairs office space, I have a feeling this corner will actually be serving as the perfect dining spot for many an occasion – I love how moody it is compared to our bright white downstairs. So cozy, right?
