MY THANKSGIVING TABLE INSPIRATION…

Two things have providing inspiration for a simple, organic Thanksgiving table this year – and if you follow me on instagram, then you already know what one of them is! These bunches of cotton branches. And if you’ve been reading the blog, then you might recognize the other one from my November moodboard – black and white buffalo plaid.

And I think I’ve figured out a way to use them both for my table that’s unique and doesn’t require me running all over town for fabric or doing anything too crazy for a centerpiece – both of which totally delight my already packed schedule.

The inspiration looks something like this…

1. marble cheese board // 2. copper white striped tapers // 3. wood charger // 4. grey dinner plate // 5. buffalo check table runner // 6. black and white linen napkins // 7. gold flatware // 8. smoked glass tumbler

Because my dining table is marble, I’ll be wanting to offset that with warm woods and metallics. I plan on testing out my DIY skills for the table runner and cotton centerpiece… and if it all turns out as planned, you bet I’ll be sharing the end result with you after the holiday!
