Pattern Play

Spring is all about breaking out of the cold weather routine and reinventing your wardrobe to try different styles. When I bought these two pieces of clothing separately {polka dot chambray floral blazer}, I honestly never thought to pair them together. However, once I played around with this outfit I knew it was a match made in heaven. Playing with patterns and just having fun with your clothing can give you a completely different perspective on your wardrobe. I also have this polka dot shirt in white and it has become one of my closet staples. I had such a fun time taking these pictures over the weekend with Meg, Christine and Lydia. We wound up finding a gorgeous spot on the Yale campus, however, we were freezing our buns off at one point. I guess I should have checked the weather forecast before wearing so few layers!
