DO YOU REMEMBER WHEN BLOGGING WAS FUN?

Hey Mum, I think you'd be WAY more fun if you did less blogging. Why not get Aunty Nicole to help you out?
Do you remember when blogging was fun? Do you remember feeling like you were really PART of something when you commented on or wrote a post? Do you remember the conversation? The community? The newness? The sharedness? The goodness? The honesty?

I remember.

Gosh blogging has been good to me. Gosh I've grown and been nourished by it and goodness me I'm glad I've written my children's stories (scandalous, I know). I'm also glad I can continue to do so because it's my blog, my party - my rules.

I mentioned a couple of weeks ago that I was going to bring some contributors on board here. I need some help to keep this thing rolling, plus, I want it to be FUN, you know, like a real life party in velour trackies. I want it to be a community and since the blogging thing seems to have changed so drastically over the past couple of years (comments anyone?), I'm bringing my community to me.

Some time this week I'm going to introduce you to the new Beetle Shack crew. The peeps that will keep this do com going with their skills and loves and letters. Of course, one of them is my mermaid sister, Nicole. She will be in later today to introduce you to a new series. She will also been queen of DIY round these parts (hello crafty).

When you vist The Beetle Shack you'll be hearing not only from me, but from my friends and family. We'll cover topics like parenting,* cooking, gardening and DIY. Some days will blow your mind and other days we will put you to sleep with our useless drivel.**
