Pretty in Mint

This jacket above is my newest baby, I call it a "Summer Shirt Jacket," and it took me 10 hours or more to construct. My design aesthetic is very much influenced by my up bringing and life in Florida. I love the brightness of spring and summer months and this dainty color palette of blush pink and mint have me feeling delicate and pretty. I detailed the shoulder with a sheer panel that can be zipped closed or unzipped to create that popular "cut-out" effect without it really being cut out.
On this day Shreddy and I met up after school for a dinner date at one of our favorite thai restaurants near Los Feliz. Los Feliz is one of L.A's little gems and home to some pretty famous celebs, like my favorite, Jon Hamm aka Don Draper. Although my dreams of meeting Mr. Hamm didn't come true (sigh), we did manage to have an amazing evening eating yummy pad thai and walking through the park.
