Easy Entertaining Ideas with Pacific Foods

Hi friends! I am so excited to share with you today some seriously Easy Entertaining Ideas with Pacific Foods! As we’re rounding out the Summer, there are still plenty of parties to be had! I don’t know about you, but as we’re heading into football season, that means football parties and tailgating. I love LOVE love to entertain. There’s just something about having your closest friends and family over for a good time. I think that’s what life is all about, right? Spending it with the ones you love. But having folks over doesn’t mean that you have to slave away for hours on end. If there’s something that I’ve learned over the years from throwing parties (hello kids birthdays) is that I cannot do it all. You have to find amazing shortcuts and secrets to pulling it all off – and that’s what makes you look like a pro. And today I’m sharing some of my newest tips and tricks!

I love serving pieces. But you don’t have to go out and buy all new things every party you host! Get good “bones” of party ware and you can mix and match for each occasion. I have tons of neutral plates and serving dishes – really all in white. You can serve up just about any dish or bites on those! Then you can add color, texture and dimension like I did here with cake plates, baskets and rattan serving sets. You’ll reuse these over and over again.

And party decor is right up there with serving dishes. Mix it up! Grab Chinese take out boxes to hold napkins and flatware; for under a dollar they’ll add whimsy and color without breaking the bank. Even line your party table with colorful drinks that go with the theme. That way you’re killing two birds with one stone, as they say. I also love to add banners and bunting to my party table. I always have a few different options on hand, including neutrals that can go with just about anything. Here we have green pom poms that I scored at the local craft store on clearance. Hang it, easy! And save it for your next party.

Now don’t forget the food. This is where I rely on others the most. When entertaining, I tend to be one of those “semi-homemade” types. I love finding good food that you can mix up and plate, that your guests are sure to enjoy. This is where Pacific Foods comes in! They’re food products are AMAZING. And I’m not just saying that. Free of GMOs, the folks at Pacific think food tastes better without additives or flavorings so they don’t put them in their products.

You’re going to find tons of organic and all natural foods with Pacific – there are even great options for special diets. For our party we snagged Pacific Classic and Red Pepper Hummus and paired them with pita chips with sea salt and pepper. The taste is unbelievable right out of the box! Just drizzle a little olive oil on top and you’ve got a gourmet appetizer on your hands.

But maybe our favorite “dish” was the Easy Cheesy Bean Dip! For this dip, we just combined Pacific All Natural Salsa con Queso with Pacific Organic Refried Black Beans. Amazing. Let’s just say that dip didn’t last for very long and we went on the hunt for more chips!
