Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 NOOK Review

Hi friends! Let me start out by saying that I am GIDDY about this post. I think there are some times that you come across a product that is so enjoyable that you just can’t help but share it. And share it I will, just not with my husband or my kids. More will come about that later on but for now, let me give you the lowdown, the 411 – my Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 NOOK Review! So tell me, are you a reader? IF YES, keep reading. Next, are you a traditional (paper and binding) book reader or a digital reader? If you’re reading this post, then I assume you’re at least somewhat of a digital reader. YES GOOD, keep reading. Turns out you’re not alone! Barnes & Noble research shows that while the rise of mobile technology, including tablets, has undeniably changed how, what and the ways in which Americans read, they’re doing more of it than ever. Tablets have not only changed our reading habits, but what it even means to read – personal email (96 percent) is the number-one item read, followed by social media (67 percent); Web sites, online articles or blogs (73 percent); work-related materials (46 percent); eBooks (31 percent); and digital magazines or newspapers (40 percent).

Good, so it’s not just me. Do you remember when you converted? I do. I had just had my second child and I was home with him on maternity leave. I was binging on everything E! channel and after too many Millionaire Matchmaker episodes, my husband suggested that I try to read a book or two. Take a break from TV. Haha! That sounded great but with a baby in your arms, it’s REALLY hard to read a book. And that’s what I told him…and a few days later a digital reader showed up at our door. And I was hooked. Fast forward a couple of years and I haven’t read in ages. I’ve been stressed and my husband (he’s so smart!) suggested that I take up reading again. And I agreed – but I said “I need a new reader.” Then the new NOOK showed up at our door. And I was floored! It is sleek, ultra light, and has all of the essential tablet tools that customers need in everyday life. At 9.74 oz. and .35 inches thick the new NOOK by Samsung is comfortable and easy to hold. And not only can you access great reading options, but the new NOOK by Samsung offers interactive content and games, but with everyday tablet tools you can video chat/take pictures, explore the web, check email and use more than one app simultaneously! Amazing!

So I dove right in! And it was SO EASY to get started. There are a ton of books on my mental list that I just NEED to read (I told you it’s been a while, right?) and lucky me, the with the new NOOK by Samsung, users have access to the expansive NOOK Store which has a wide offering and entertainment content offers:

So like I said, I’m so excited to share this news with you. The NOOK is brilliant, easy to use and just excellent for all of my reading needs. But that’s where the sharing ends, right? Oh how I wish. My boys have been ALL OVER it! Including my husband. SIGH. This is MOMMA’S NOOK! Ok, ok…you know like any other mother in the world, of course I have been sharing. But thankfully with customizable NOOK Profiles, every member of the family can create their own immersive reading experience. And they have. The little ones have watched The LEGO Movie a couple of times now…because everything is awesome. The kids books are also awesome and interactive – so good for my new little reader!
