Hello Sombre
Let’s talk sombre.
Sombre = soft ombre. A term I learned just two nights ago at the L’Oreal Paris event at the Sheats Goldstein Residence.
Which is exactly what Chad Kenyon gave me yesterday at at Salon Benjamin. Darker at the top, lighter at the bottom, but subtle. It was just the update I needed, along with my new cut (by Alan Martinez). I felt like a new woman!
I took my new sombre ‘do out for Emily Henderson’s studio opening party last night with Tiny Prints. It was a scorcher here in LA and I just wanted to be comfortable, so tossed on my favorite LWD I hadn’t worn since frolicking in fields of giant marshmallows in the best hidden town in Europe you’ve never heard of.
With Labor Day fast approaching, I’m trying to fit in wearing all the white I can now. Kiidding! Does anyone still follow that no-white-after-Labor-Day rule? I hope not. LWDs forever and year-round! This time I added a LWJ (little white jacket), white sunnies and a white bag, plus these comfy wedges that added a singular kick of color.
