Golden Pineapple and Small Victories

So it almost marks three months of me doing Nutrisystem. I am not going to lie, it has definitely been challenging. I have found the evenings to be more of a challenge than during the day. Most likely because I take my food with me to work during the day. I don't have the temptation of what the rest of my family is eating or what is in the pantry. Some days are harder than others, but I think what helps is that the Nutrisystem food actually tastes good and has flavor!

Really though, what diet/lifestyle change isn't hard? It has been a slow process to get this weight off as I have heard from a lot of people- the older you get, after you have children, etc. For me, this was so true! After I had Ella, the baby weight (which was a lot) was all gone by the time she was eleven months. Charlotte will be two in September and I still have about half of the baby weight (which was even more than with Ella...yuck) to lose!

But- I have made progress, and am proud at my start! As I approach the 20 pound mark, it feels good to wear jeans (like the ones I am wearing) and not have them cutting my circulation off! Crazy to think that I actually wore these almost twenty pounds heavier....gross!! Little things like that though, the small victories (like my jeans fitting better on me) are what makes the journey worth while!!

Here's to small victories and the little things that keep me going! Have a great weekend!
