There's something about high waisted everything that I love. I know I don't have the flattest, tightest midsection in the world, but I really think (
like horizontal stripes) it's all in how you wear it and style it.
I will admit, when I shop for
my store,
most of the time I buy with the customer in mind and myself second. If I like it and it looks good on me, that's a bonus! But-there are sometimes where I see something, fall in love, and buy it solely for myself, and if customers love it, that's just an added bonus! I can't help it!
That's how it was with
this skirt. I couldn't wait to take it for a spin! For work, I thought pairing it with a
chambray and mules would dress it up a bit. Let me tell you about
these booties- they are SO comfortable. I could wear these all day long. Plus, the nude color goes with just about everything!
What's great about this skirt is it's versatility. After work, I swapped the chambray for a tucked in
white boyfriend tee,
my denim vest, and a pair of sandals. It was super casual and comfy for my day trip to Philly!
