Seventh Generation Boosts… Soothing w/Oat Extract

Hello, Lovelies!

Here is yet another incredible product I think is worthy of a post. This find was actually by accident, but a happy accident However, if I’m not mistaken, Seventh Generation is a household cleaning supply line – not a skin care line, right? Nonetheless, a few nights ago I found myself at my local drugstore in search of laundry detergent. Since it was quite late at night and I was in somewhat of a hurry, I made a beeline toward the household cleansing aisle. I was very determined, that is until I stumbled across the skin care aisle and noticed this product – oops! Oh well, no complaints here.

1.5 fl. oz. / 44 mL… Soothing with Oat Extract / Calms & Relieves

So yes, even though I was in a hurry, I felt the need to analyze this product from head to toe. And, of course, my initial reaction was to check the ingredient list. I have to say, I was quite pleased – and this is why: Prunus Armeniaca (Apricot Kernel), Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis (Sweet Almond), Vitis Vinifera (Grapeseed), Argania Spinosa, Avena Sativa (Oat), Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower), Lithospermum Erythrorhizon (Gromwell), Anthemis Nobilis (Chamomile), Rosmarinus Officinalis (Rosemary). That’s it. And, yet another perk was the price… on sale from $14.99 to $9.99.

However, it wasn’t until I slathered this bad boy on my face that I realized I purchased a keeper. Though my complexion is mainly oily, I use this product on a daily basis before bedtime and after my bi-weekly Lactic treatment (basically an at-home chemical peel, see pic below).

Undoubtedly, Seventh Generation’s Boosts is definitely worth a try. I have used said product for quite some time now and have not experienced any allergic reactions, breakouts, or excess sebum production. It basically does what it says – soothes and calms. Another tid-bit I should mention is the very light yet oh-so lovely scent of chamomile. So for those who dislike chamomile, this product may not be for you. Otherwise, I think this product will work well with any skin type.

Enjoy!
