There are a few pieces that every wardrobe should have, those classic items that never go out of style & are always worth the investment. I’ve been thinking about this with my own wardrobe a lot recently, and whilst I do have a good majority of these staple pieces nailed, one that I’m still on the hunt for is a really great classic shirt. I have lots of black shirts, in pretty much every material & style available other than that classic crisp cotton & a nice sharp cut, it’s definitely something that’s missing.
Whilst I’ve been hunting for the one I’ve also found myself drawn to the white versions. All the black ones I’ve found look a bit cheap for some reason, a little too office worker & it seems like it’s impossible to find a really good one, great white ones are everywhere though & I’m suddenly starting to picture outfits with a flash of white collar, or a sliver peaking out of the opening of my jackets. Monochrome (though I wish they’d stop calling B&W that!) has been all over the catwalks, and as much as I’m not usually a great follower of trends, maybe this has seeped in a little & is the reason behind my white cravings, that or seeing so many of you rock it in outfit posts recently!
