Clinique Deep Comfort

I’ve dappled with the Clinique Deep Comfort range before, and always liked it (the hand cream has been spotted on my desk as a go-to hand cream many a time) but it’s just this past couple of weeks of using one of these three that really made me sit up and take notice. So I already mentioned the Deep Comfort Hand Cream – I always think of this as basically like the famous yellow Dramatically Different Moisturiser from Clinique – but a little thicker and for the body rather than the face. The whole range has that slight creamy yellow tinge to it and doesn’t have any discernible scent that I’ve noticed. It’s just creamy.

These three products as you can see are basically the trio of essentials for body care in winter – a hand cream, because if you’re anything like me your hands need care year-round, but dialling it up in colder months. Then there’s the super creamy body wash – to add a little extra care when you’re probably enjoying extra long, hot showers to keep you warm…but ultimately strip the skin of moisture. Then the final touch of the Deep Comfort Body Butter – a thick, creamy, body butter that actually absorbs super quickly and leaves skin smooth and soft. This is the product I’ve totally fallen for – it’s just amazing. It’s simply a great product if you have dry skin on your body. As I said, it absorbs quickly and leaves skin feeling instantly taken care of – without feeling greasy or sticky. I don’t know if it’s just the added moisture – but I feel like my skin feels smoother too – as in winter my drier skin tends to lead to lumps and bumps of dry skin but since I started using this it’s been helping with that a lot. Likely just due to less dry skin ‘clogging’ up and creating the bumps. But for me, this is a winter skin God-send. There is also a massive 400ml Body Lotion version if you prefer something a bit lighter – but for me, the Body Butter is a winner.
