My New Brow Love: Anastasia Dipbrow Pomade

If there's one thing you know I love, it's eyebrows. I just can't live without them. Even on no-makeup days, I still can't help putting my brows on. Which is pretty much why I was super excited about the Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow Pomade and had to get my hands on some.

If you have seen any of my past makeup tutorials, I have mentioned quite a few times that I was using a product for my brows that was not a brow product at all... but rather a creme eyeliner with a brush. I stuck with that for years because I loved the consistency and how it just glided on, but I did have issues with smudging and I always had to be careful of wiping it accidentally! Dustin and I even have a joke about wiping my eyebrows off because of it! Anyways, back to this product...

I was excited about it because it was a pomade! The same type of feeling I was used to and had grown to love. I knew I could never go back to pencils and it was tough trying to find something like this. When I saw it, I needed it. It's made just for brows and is waterproof... meaning no more smudging!

I got the colour Chocolate which is exactly as you see in the photo below. My natural brow colour is kind of a weird shade... in between a dark blonde and medium brown, so I always tend to go a little darker with the brow products.

My first thought when I opened this and tried it was that I knew it was going to last me a long time. A little goes a LONG way with this stuff. You literally just need to tap your brush in it very lightly to get a good amount of colour to work with. Applying it is a breeze, but I can see that some people might need to get used to using a brush if they haven't ever done that before. The brush I use is just an Everyday Minerals thin angled brush.

As I mentioned, I had read that this stuff has staying power, and boy are they right. I no longer have to worry about accidentally bumping my brow and ruining all of that hard work. This stuff stays in place all day long and really does make for a great natural looking brow. If you're in the market for something for your brows, definitely check this stuff out because it's magic.
