Fall Trend Picks: Tassel Earrings
My brother was telling me the other day about how he was on a date with a woman and she mentioned her favorite poet. Well, he had a few drinks in him so he started quoting various poems from said poet. She was obviously impressed {fist bump bro}.
Well, he obviously stole the more “cultured” brain cells in the family because all I can seem to remember are movie quotes. And we are not talking quotes from Oscar worthy flicks. I’m telling (admitting?) that I can tell you every line from “Zoolander,” “Old School,” and of course “Elf.”
And now you are thinking, “Um, that is great Marion. But what does it have to do with tassel earrings?” Um, you guys…they’re so hot right now. And my husband and I were shopping the other day and I was holding up a pair and he looks at me and says, “Let me guess…you love them.” And without thinking I replied in a passionate tone that only slightly resembled the charisma with with Will Ferrell mustered as Elf, “I”m in love! I’m in love! And I don’t care who knows!”
He literally just gave me a look and said exactly what he was thinking, “You’re weird.”
