I Took Your Advice…

The other week I asked you all for some advice : Do I keep these booties that my husband gave me for my birthday despite the fact that they are so similar to others in my closet?

Well, I want to say thank you for sharing your thoughts opinions in that post. The large majority voted to KEEP THEM as they were “different enough” and “cooler” than my other similar booties already in my closet. And many of you pointed out the most convincing reason – my husband had picked them out for me and he’ll be so happy each time he sees me wear them. So yeah…I took your advice

I did have to go exchange them for a half size larger. So I walked into Nordstrom and this is the conversation that took place with the Nordstrom Shoe Guy:

Nordstrom Shoe Guy: “I actually helped your husband pick these out.”

Me: “Really?! Oh that is neat. Was it a difficult process?”

Nordstrom Shoe Guy: “Not really. We walked around and he would point to shoes and say no, no, maybe…and then he saw these and he immediately said, ‘Yes. Those are her.'”

Me: I smiled “Well, he definitely has good taste.”

Nordstrom Shoe Guy: “He was very excited to give them to you.”

Aaaaaaannnnddd right then I knew I had made the right choice (thanks guys!!). Because they would mean more to me than just shoes.

Sentiment > practicality in this case…:)
