for someone as lazy as me winter is a godsend when it comes to getting dressed. I tend to follow a simple but effective equation before I head outside; big coat jeans = winner.

I've already invested in a few coats this autumn but this £30 saviour from primark is by far the biggest and cosiest coat I own! I love this bad boy for burrowing into when the weather takes a turn but I do recommend sizing down on this style (I'm wearing a 6 and it's still over sized.) I do however love a bit of geeky over sized styling so I added my chunky topshop shoes, yellow jumper and lilac satchel (I figured I could squeeze in a little more pastel wearing before winter kicked in..)

I'm also wearing this a-mazing necklace from muru, I've always loved clean simple styles and their talisman collection is full of effortless pieces that come beautifully wrapped with a little card explaining the meaning behind each piece.. so. darn. cute. I've always wanted a wishbone necklace so this was a real no brainer (I also loved their feather and coin designs so I would highly recommend giving them a little cyber stalk!)

next one my hit list? some a/w knitwear.. gimme all the roll necks!
