Manicure Monday: Covergirl Buxom Blue

Today I have another polish from one of my new favorite lines at the drugstore: Covergirl XL Nail Gel in Buxom Blue. I'm not even gonna lie, at this point you guys know I've been super impressed with the line and this gorgeous sky blue is no exception!

One thing that made me gravitate toward this shade was that it's almost like a darker pastel with zero minty tones. It's just like a clean, blue summer sky and would actually look adorable with some puffy cloud nail art. Let me tell ya, I'm holding on to these last summer days like what because as soon as it starts to get colder outside I know I'm going to miss it.

Here I applied a base of OPI Nail Envy, 2 coats of Buxom Blue, and Seche Vite top coat for that glossy gel-like shine. This combo seems to work really well for me, especially with the XL Nail Gel formula.

Overall, it's another high recommendation for me just like the yellow and lavender from the line I've already reviewed.
