Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Australia | Day 1 Diary

Welcome to SYDNEY!!!! I woke up in Sydney for day 1 of Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Australia to the iconic centrepoint tower glowing just past Hyde park, Sydney was certainly turning it on for us today.
I'm wearing a Camilla and Marc jumpsuit from their new collection as well as Camilla and Marc jacket, Willow shoes, Emm Kuo bag and barton perreira glasses.
The week kicked off with a bang with Camilla and Marc's 10 year anniversary celebration show. I ran backstage to wish them luck before the show and both Camilla and myself were decked out in (almost) matching all-white ensembles. The duo seemed calm and collected as they breezed their way through interviews, stopping for a quick chat and a polaroid with me.
Backstage at Camilla and Marc, a friend who was in town from overseas proclaimed, "what do you put in the water here, the girls are so gorgeous!" Case in Point below.
A very cheeky Jemma Baines, who I last saw on the Chanel runway in Paris.
Nicole Pollard, last spotted opening the Dior show in Paris. Click here to see more.
New face, Holly Rose.
The striking Julia Nobis, who walked for Louis Vuitton.
Ruby Jean, the face of Marc Jacobs. And just when I thought 10 years was no mean feat, I found myself at aurelio costarella's presentation who was celebrating 30 years in fashion! Goddess-like creatures adorned in grecian style headpieces.
We then raced off-site to an oversized warehouse setting for Christopher Esber - where natural light streamed through the space, resting upon the maze of bright blue and orange beams that dotted the venue. Always one of my favourite's of the week, this show certainly did not disappoint. An incredibly fresh face Christopher Esber backstage before the show. Front row favourites at Christopher Esber: Kate Waterhouse, Nicole Warne and Lara Bingle.
STREET STYLE! What I love most about coming home is the girls! Blame it on the beaches and incredible weather, although Australian style is incredibly unique in its sense of polished ease.

Zanita Morgan and I after the Bec and Bridge show.

Natalie Joos in my favourite neon yellow Simone Rochas Skirt
Kate Waterhouse looking gorgeous as always in a Gucci dress, Alaia shoes and Proenza Schouler bag
The Pip Edwards, the gorgeous , in her Isabel Marant sneakers.
One of the coolest models around, Ms Ollie Henderson in a Emma Mullholland dress
Susie Bubble
Director Gracie Otto in Bec and Bridge and Gucci accessories.
Natalie Cantell in Kenzo and vintage Oroton Alex Perry: the 100 metre runway, the smoking hot front row attendees and THOSE thigh high boots that no one can stop talking about. Whilst there was very much the glamour usually associated with Alex Perry, there was certainly a new and exciting edge to the collection.
The final show of the night, Romance Was Born was awe inspiring and uplifting... like being transported to another world made of colourful sugar cities. It was an explosion of colours, textures, volumes and sounds... a brilliant sensory overload and the perfect way to end day 1.

With Pip Edwards, Adam Cooper and myself wearing Christopher Esber post show. What an amazing start to the week! I'm off dream of wondrous cosmic cities, can not wait for day 2! xx
