Crockpot Shredded Beef Tacos

If you’ve been a Part Time House Wife Reader for a while I’m sure you’ve noticed whenever I make a jar of Homemade Taco Seasoning, everything suddenly turns into a Taco, Fiesta, or Mexican something or other. Whatever, call me one dimensional… It happens. But it doesn’t take away from how Gosh Dang Delish it is. SO hop on this chronic Taco Seasoning using train with me and let’s get this done.

Brace yourself, things are about to get crazy easy.

Crockpot Shredded Beef Tacos

INGREDIENTS:

2lbs. Angus Beef Brisket {Flat Cut Boneless} All Fat trimmed off

2 Tbsp. Homemade Taco Seasoning {Divided}

½ Large Sweet Onion~ Diced

2 Cups Reduced Sodium Beef Broth

Salt for seasoning

Tortillas or Hard Taco Shells

Taco Toppings…

HOW-TO’S:

Dice an onion and place it in the bottom of the crockpot/slow-cooker.

Coat both sides of the brisket with 1 Tbsp. of the taco seasoning. Using ½ Tbsp. for each side. Press the seasoning into the meat with your hands.

Place the seasoned beef on top of the onions

And pour in the broth.

Set the Crockpot to low for 8-9 Hours.

Go to work, run your errands, watch 8 hours of the Real Housewives of New York… Doesn’t matter because for 8 hours your Shredded beef tacos will be cooking themselves.

Once your beef is shreddable, pull it out and place it in a dish

Grab two forks and start shredding!

Once all your beef is a nice stringy mess toss it back into the pot.

Add remaining 1 Tbsp. of Taco Seasoning and a little salt {by taste} and give it a good stir.

Set the crockpot back to low and let it set for another hour or so. You probably don’t really have to let it sit that long so if you’re in a time crunch just give it a good mixin and pretend I never said to wait.

Set up your Taco Makin Station…make sure you include your Garlicky Guac!

Pile the Shredded beef high into the shells…

A little shout out to Scott for being my taco makin demonstrator… Round of Applause folks, didn’t he do a great job!?

Top them with your favorite taco toppings.

And Simply ENJOY!!!
