The later half of last week consisted of myself and one of my closest friends and fellow style blogger, KT of KTR Style in New York City to catch the start of fashion week. Thursday marked our first night in the city, and we were off to Ted Baker London, where Lookmazing collaborated with the store for a unique shopping event hosted by two stellar bloggers including my wonderful KT. I've been enamored by the British brand for quite some time now (I'll forever covet one of their lovely wallets). So of course, I wanted wear something in accordance to the brand's aesthetic, which I interpreted as lady-like and classic, but with a bit of a fun and trendy twist: a dressier crop top with an elegant pencil skirt. Crop tops high waisted bottoms = a formula that I will never, ever tire of.

The Lookmazing x Ted Baker event was the perfect one to kick off our mini-stay in NYC. This two-story store was not only full of lovely TB pieces, shoes, and accessories, but the interior design was striking as well. I did my best to fill in as KT's photographer and I was so proud and thrilled when so many people came up to her and told her just how big a fan they were, how amazing her style is, how fantastic her skirts and designs are! You go, KT!

I know this sounds redundant by now, especially when I still haven't uploaded the other photos from my Europe trip two months ago, but expect more NYC photos soon when I compile them properly. It's hard to admit this... but I've been in quite the blogger funk for the past month or so due to personal issues and life-changing decisions (the latter of which sounds oh so over-the-top, I know, haha). However, I think I've managed to sort my life out, mostly, and am ready to get back into the swing of writing and blogging again.
