The PolishAholic Pad, Before!

Welp, it's official guys...I am an adult now. I closed escrow on my condo yesterday and am officially a homeowner! I thought I'd show you guys a bunch of "before" photos of my condo! I'm re-doing like 90% of the place so when I'm done it will look a lot different! Right now it's in need of some major TLC, the carpet is pretty gross and all the tile looks like it hasn't been cleaned in like a year...nasty. As I go I'll probably be posting about it on Instagram and Twitter then I'll do a big "after" post here!

I bought a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom condo, its about 845 sqft...not huge but enough room for me and Degen and that's all I need at the moment...plus it was all I could afford. Buying real estate in Southern California is kind of outrageous. I was watching House Hunters the other day and a couple in Texas bough a 3800 sqft house for less than I paid for my condo...how depressing. Before I move in I'm putting in dark vinyl plank flooring everywhere except for the bathrooms and repainting the entire place!

Big apologies for the crappy lighting in most of the photos, I need to go buy some lamps like right now.

First up is the master bedroom, when you walk in the photo below is what it looks like to the left...I'll probably put my bed here. The rest of the room is long and skinny...apparently I didn't take a picture of it in its entirety...my bad. A for the broken blinds, good thing I work at a place that does window coverings haha

At the other end of the master bedroom is a big closet. I'm planning on leaving half of it normal and doing some kind of shelving in the other half. The master bathroom is off to the right.

Below is the entry, there is a nice big closet which I really like. When you walk in you enter to the living room/nook/kitchen...it's all nice and open!

The rest of this post is after the jump because it's a little long!
