Camden is basically where all the hipsters (before they were even hipsters) used to live about 10 years ago before moving to Shorditch and now moving out to further afield like London Fields/Stoke Newington. Its a weird place because it still tries to have the same vibe it did but without any of the coolness. It’s not that hip anymore, These days its full of tourists and wheely suitcases, a ridiculous amount of Obey Hats and street food galore. All while desperately trying to cling on to some edge. Saying that - I do really like Camden.

We pottered up to Camden after shopping yesterday. It was horrendously busy - it alway is at the weekends so watch out. Camden is a great place to photograph because of the vibrancy and colour, loads of signage, typography and little trinkets. But its also awkward as most stall holders dont want you taking photos of their stuff which is fine - but one even made me delete a snap that I took next to his stall. Then proceeded to rant at me that I was "the reason copyright theft happens". You get less grief trying to vlog in a highstreet shop. We had a quick browse, some ice cream (which I'll save for another post, because it was that good it needs its own post!) and a sit by the canal before heading straight back to sleepy Balham.

PS. Im sorry this post is SO pic heavy mobile users! I did actually take even more but I'll save those for another time!
