La Tour Eiffel

So, I promised you a cliché at the end of my last post, and voilà! I’m wearing none other than a beret in front of the Eiffel Tower. But honestly, considering how many years it’s been since my last visit, and how much enjoyment I got out of the thought of wearing my new leopard print fancy all around Paris, nothing else really mattered! (i.e. whether or not the locals thought I was an utterly silly billy). You dress for yourself and not anyone else, after all! Plus, who could resist not wearing an animal print and leather dress combo in front of a misty-moody Eiffel Tower background?

Mine and Carrie‘s second day in Paris started quite early to make the most of the hours we had, and involved an extremely large amount of walking! But we wouldn’t have had it any other way; working our way from the Trocadéro with its beautiful view of the Eiffel Tower, through to the Champs-Élysées and to a fancy Angelina for lunch (the croque madame was something else!). Having got back late Sunday evening, I couldn’t help but feel quite lucky to have spent what would otherwise have been an average weekend at home, in the most beautiful city I’ve ever laid eyes on. And I’m already planning my next visit.. ’til next time, Paris! x
