The Old & The New

It isn’t the right time of year to be having a ‘spring clean’, but I’ve recently been sorting through clothes to make room for recent additions that have been taking up a lot of my lovin’ (read my DUO boots post?). I’m ashamed to admit that I’ve even found items of clothing I’ve either never got round to wearing, or soon after purchasing realised were so not ‘me’, and consequently forgotten about. But, I do have some firm favourites that are staying in my wardrobe for good…

My vintage bag from Beyond Retro and suede boots from Topshop have seen me through a lot, and while it’s exciting to receive something new I’ve been lusting over for a while, it is equally as comforting to be able to pair it with an old favourite. My Persunmall coat and Boohoo skirt are two new additions to my (now ‘clean’) wardrobe, and I couldn’t be happier with how well my old boots and bag go with them; I hope I’m not the only one who thinks that! Plus, having a ‘thing’ for getting my shoulders out (it’s the new cleavage, guys) means that this ASOS number is my go-to because it makes wearing a black top a whole heap more interesting! I know it’s quite a simple outfit, but it’s probably one of my favourites for making me feel pretty, and feeling it is the most important thing in my book! x
