Dahlia: Pink Trench Coat

A few weeks ago I spotted an item from Dahlia that had me swooning the second I laid eyes on it. No wonder this pink trench coat was a complete sellout the first time round, it is the prettiest, especially for when our English summer is being particularly un-summery (like now, thanks rain!). So, I’ve been challenged by the lovely Dahlia team to style this trench in three different ways and I couldn’t be more excited to share look number one! It goes without saying that this outfit is most definitely casual, and my most go-to look.

A pair of flattering jeans and a white T-shirt has probably been the remedy for many ‘I-have-no-nice-clothes!’ days, and there’s plenty of reason why! But the good thing about such a pretty outer layer is that it does all the talking for you and you needn’t bother too much about what top you’re wearing. And this is great for the frequent bouts of indecisiveness I get first thing in the morning when I have 60 seconds to pick between five equally acceptable tops, and a train to catch. These white Topshop brogues were completely forgotten about under my extremely complex puzzle of mismatched shoes and boxes, and teamed with my new love-it-or-hate-it iPhone case, I spent a sunny afternoon wandering around the beautiful streets of Kensington shooting with the wonderful Amber. A perfect Saturday afternoon! x
