Last weekend I made a familiar trip down to Brighton as part of UGG Australia‘s #BestDaysOfSummer campaign. I probably could have picked somewhere more ‘new’ or further away but Brighton is where I’m happiest, having lived there for three years while at Sussex University. You might have caught snippets of my day over on Instagram, and it really was one of my favourite days this summer; fancy lunch in the North Laines, shopping in Beyond Retro, finding the cutest egg cup ever and tea and cake in my favourite corner cafe pretty much sums up my idea of the perfect kind of day.

Plus I got to wear in my new UGG shoes and nope, not a boot in sight! These reptile print flats are certainly unique (mum I do not own something similar) so I let it do all the talking, wearing my new ASOS favourites along with the prettiest MoonTide necklace. For someone who always forgets to wear jewellery, I’ve put on this necklace every morning since I received it! It might not be the most eye-catching outfit, but for a Saturday spent walking (and eating) lots, it suited me just fine! x
