Tuesday Feature.

I have been so excited to share this company with you for weeks! As a Texas girl, born & raised, a good pair of boots is a must! Even my own brother's wedding had a Texas Rehearsal dinner theme, at prom the guys wore boots and every girl needs a good pair of boots to pair with a cute dress.
These boots are incredible quality with a great { and huge} selection. Check them out!!! And don't miss out on the great deal below, xoxo!

Founded in 2010, The Texas Boot Company began with Marc and Shelly Conselman's dream to pursue something they love by providing authentic styles, superb quality and comfortable fitting western wear at a fair price.

Marc's family has been in the boot business since 1965, when his grandfather opened a western wear store in Grand Prairie, Texas. Initially Marc took a very different path, one that would have him wearing combat boots instead of western boots, but when he decided to join his family in the boot business, he knew it was a perfect fit.
After graduating from the U.S. Military Academy in 1996, Marc served in the Army for 5 years, leaving the service as a Captain in the Infantry in early 2001. When he returned home, he went to work for his parents in the restaurant industry before going to graduate school. During that time he learned that the restaurant industry, like the retail business, is hard work; it's a people business and his whole job was to find a way to make people smile.
"Marc went to business school at Southern Methodist University, where he met his wife, and then followed a more traditional career path. His time in ‘corporate America' left him yearning for a chance to get back to the basics of making people smile. A few years before opening The Texas Boot Company, Marc's work travel took him away from home on a schedule that was unsustainable for starting a family. Marc and Shelly knew they wanted to be a part of a community and when he began to navigate other states better than his hometown, they knew it was time to pursue their shared dream.
Their desire to be a part of their community led the Conselman's to follow in the family tradition and enter the western wear business. Initially, Marc approached an uncle about his boot business as he was interested in helping him build his brand at the time, but his advice was for Marc to do his own thing. Marc took that advice to heart and created The Texas Boot Company, a store as authentic as the boots they design. At the time Marc didn't realize it, but this was the best advice he could have been given at the time. Since then, they've worked hard to create a unique atmosphere where shoppers can browse an enormous selection with styles that can't be found anywhere else. In fact, one third of their Lucchese selection is designed in-house allowing them to provide exclusive boots that customers love.
Located in a small town, the Conselman's know they have to continually find ways to make The Texas Boot Company experience special enough for folks to make the drive, and if you ask them, its working out pretty well. Their passion continues to grow, consistently offering the best selections available, giving customers a chance to express their style and love for all things Texas.
Since the day their doors first opened, the Conselman's have worked hard to create a family store that produces smiles as big as their boot selection. In addition to Marc and Shelly, if you see the couple's bird dog, Beauxregard, or their daughter, fondly referred to as their little "Texas tornado" the next time you are in the store, make sure you say hello! They look forward to continuing their family tradition and being a staple in Texas for years to come! Its been a great journey so far, and the Conselman's are glad to share it with every customer that comes through the doors, because that's what really makes The Texas Boot Company such a special place.
The next time you're in Bastrop, just follow the smell of leather until you get to the Big Boot on Highway 71!"
