Hey guys, Happy Good Friday! its so nice to have Easter finally here, this time last year I was in a really bad place and for once in my life I finally feel free. I think Easter is a time for reflection on mistakes and a chance for new beginning, new life, new fashion styles. Shake off Winter and feel the magic of Spring, I was lucky enough to get this cute little Easter gift from
Miss Guided. I saw their
Silk Feel Playsuit at the
Spring/Summer Press day in January, I fell in love and I just had to get my hands on it. The length of the shorts is quite long on me so I pinned it up for the photo, to elongate my legs, but I will also make adjustments later on, like I have to with almost all my clothes #PetiteProblems. Also what I found problematic is the fact they expect petite ladies to have an enormous bust, this was a dress size 6 and my 34a bust did not even begin to fill the space. I really had to tighten it up with pins and I feel more comfortable to sew it together rather than let my cleavage hang out. I wanted to style the playsuit with girly accessories and shoes rather than trying to make the outfit edgy with black sandals and bold accessories, I went for pearls, nude t-bar heels and a lovely bow belt, all from Primark. A great place to find cheap bits and bobs to bring alive an outfit. Apart from these little fitting issues overall the style of the playsuit is to die for, I love how it has this glamorous, female gangster feel to it, almost like the character Sydney from the movie '
American Hustle'. Have a great Easter weekend!
Lots of love, Charlotte x
